Snowball

If you use lots of different services and apps on your smartphone simultaneously, you might get a lot of notifications – so many, in fact, that you miss some as your Android accumulates them all in your upper taskbar. To avoid mistakenly discarding any important messages, the Snowball app was born.

Once installed, the app generates an independent section inside the notifications bar, where all the messages you receive will be accumulated. Concretely, it can work with Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Snapchat, SMS, Hangouts, Twitter, LINE, WeChat, Slack, Telegram, Viber, and Skype.

It's important to know that this app only notifies you, but to answer the messages, you have to access each app individually by tapping the message. The advantage of this over Android's notification system, besides a clearer organization, is that you can check the messages directly from the lock screen, even when several of them are waiting at once.

If you have more than one message, a bubble will appear showing how many notifications you have pending, so you'll always know how many received messages you have waiting for you.
